BG²¶Óã Now Offers Associate Degree in Mechatronics
BG²¶Óã has been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education and the New England Commission of Higher Education to offer an associate of science degree in mechatronics, a field that combines industrial machinery operation and maintenance skills with 21st-century automation electronics and robotics. The new degree will be available in fall 2023.

Congressman Richard E. Neal, Chair of the House Committee on Ways and Means, visited BG²¶Óã to announce a $350,000 earmark for upgrades to the nursing program's simulation equipment.
BG²¶Óã Receives More than $1M in Grant Funds Â
BG²¶Óã has been awarded $1,080,231 in grant funds from a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services program.  The four-year grant will provide stipends, partial reimbursement of tuition and fees, and supplies for up to 15 students per year enrolled in BG²¶Óã's Mental Health, Addiction Recovery, and Human Services certificate programs.

BG²¶Óã Awarded $735K as Part of Commonwealth's Workforce Training Grant
Berkshire Community College (BG²¶Óã) has received a $735,000 workforce training grant, part of a total of $15 million awarded to the Commonwealth's 15 community colleges. Each college is allocated 75 seats for training courses, and additional funds will be made available from the grant's remaining $3.45 million after a school expends the current allocation.
