Give to BG²¶Óã Scholarships

More than half of BG²¶Óã students receive financial aid, and scholarships play a crucial role in their success. The BG²¶Óã Foundation awards over $400,000 annually in scholarships and aid based on academic merit, financial need, and factors such as community service and career goals. Your gift helps students pursue their educational goals without financial burden.

Scholarship Funds

Alumni Board Scholarship

The Alumni Board Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing either a degree or certificate at Berkshire Community College and for whom a parent or grandparent has received a degree or certificate from the same. This scholarship has been funded through the vision and generosity of the alumni advisory board established in 2019.

BG²¶Óã Foundation General Scholarship

The BG²¶Óã Foundation General Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic achievement and is eligible for all students to apply. This scholarship was endowed by faculty, staff, community members and friends of BG²¶Óã.

BG²¶Óã Engineering Alumni Scholarship

The BG²¶Óã Engineering Alumni Scholarship is awarded to promising students who are graduating from Berkshire Community College and continuing their engineering education at a four-year school. This scholarship has been funded through the vision and generosity of BG²¶Óã Engineering Alumni Scholarship Committee.

Representative "Smitty" Pignatelli Scholarship

The Representative "Smitty" Pignatelli Scholarship was endowed through the vision and generosity of an anonymous donor and awards funds on an annual basis to students residing in the third district who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing either a degree or certificate at Berkshire Community College and have an interest in community involvement and civic responsibility.

Student Emergency Financial Aid

Berkshire Community College Foundation Emergency Financial Aid is provided help to students outside of the normal scholarship cycle. These funds are awarded as scholarships and may fund outside expenses determined eligible by the Foundation.
